I called MEMA this afternoon to talk about the MOU and also had a discussion
about the winter storm watch that is currently in effect until AM Sunday.
Currently WeatherBug is saying >5 inches for the area. Winds are expected to be
10-20 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH.
In spite of this information MEMA does not expect to activate any auxillary
communications suport functions. This could change so keep an eye on your email
and listen to the repeater and KCI.
Locally you should keep an eye on your weather conditions, snow totals and
winds speeds as well as service outtages and road conditions.
