to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and half going to the MCCC. Most of the men
there already had the Corvair parts they needed; it turns out the big movers
were non-auto related items. I really appreciate the support for the event and
the willingness of people to bring items of value and interest along with the
people who purchased auction items. The club member turnout was good and,
according to Darrell, the consensus was to hold the auction again next year.
With the lunch sponsored by Thrivent Financial, that meant 100% of money raised
went to the charity and the club. Thanks again to everyone for their
participation and support, from Thrivent to Darrell and Janet Varley to the
Music City Corvair Club members who attended. What a great group of folks
helping out great causes. Remember, it’s always better to get there in a
