Due to some unforeseen circumstances i do not have access to my computer
which has the newsletter template on it. So this month i will also be typing
up the general info from our meeting in November as well as giving some info
on the December meeting.
The Spring Picnic is currently tentatively planned for either March 30 or
April 6th. I am scouting locations currently and hope to have something
nailed down by the end of the month. If you have any ideas as to where we
could meet, please let me know. So far Knox and Choo Choo clubs are
interested, Atlanta is a little iffy but the NC Club heard and also is
interested in getting involved. Location suggestions : South of Knox in Alcoa
there is a park, Center Hill lake area, Harrison Bay Park in Chattanooga.
Tech Day on Dec 2 was another success! We had a great turn out, perfect
weather, and all around a good time. Thank you to every one who came and
pitched in! We had a new potential member Matt show up! Him and his wife Kim
moved here from Houston, Texas and was active in their club and would like to
join us! They have 3 Corvairs; a 65 Turbo and two 66 Coupes. Welcome Matt and
Kim we look forward to getting to know you better!
I have updated the CORSA website to include our current info as it was out of
date.
Randy has reached out to Phil regarding the use of the YahooGroups and Phil
is willing to transfer Admin rights to a member to handle. We do not have
admin capabilities currently and would like to move to using just the
FreeLists service if we cannot get moderator rights. It was suggested that we
ask Scot Gilmore to take over (youve been voluntold! haha) as Admin. If not
then we will transition to using just the Free Lists service in the near
future. I will get a full list of members who are added to the Freelist
service just to ensure no one is left behind.
A motion was passed to make a donation to The MS Society again as well as
Wounded Warrior project. Both donations will be made in the amount of $200
each.
Please remember dues will be collected beginning Jan 1st. (Dues will NOT be
collected during the Christmas party)

OHB ends at TN-100, Follow to the Right.
