San Diego, Thu Oct 10, 5-9PM. Details are below. Coaches include Chief Info
Security Office (CISO) City of San Diego, a former colleague of mine from SAIC,
and the FBI along with others. Details are below. While a haul down to San
Diego, this could be a great networking opportunity. You can select the link

Are you at all interested in learning why people find cyber security
interesting? Are you hoping to meet some people who could be valuable
connections for internships? Do you want to eat dinner, hear from industry
professionals and participate in a contest? This is for people with computer
experience and for people just starting out. You don't need any specific
expertise and it is fun.
The speakers will be from the FBI and a variety of local computer and computer
security companies. One of these folks could be your future employer or a
source of an internship. The contest is organized by the Security Advisor
The event is October 10 from 5:00-9:00 at Liberty Station Conference Center.
PLNU will be hosting students from a number of universities here in San Diego.
