Dear Club IT,
Hope all had a great summer. Our first Club IT Meeting will be next Wednesday,
8/29 from 3:30-5:00PM in Room OC4803B. In addition to National Cyber League,
Virtual Reality, and Drones, we will be refurbishing about 30 Windows PCs
donated to the MiraCosta Foundation and then giving them to EOPS students.
This is a great opportunity for us and I think that I could provide a case for
this to count as Service Learning.
We have at least one officer position open, Club Vice President. Club Officer
positions look great on a resume! Also, a person reached out the career center
looking for some social media help (4 hrs or so) with a cap of $50. This could
come in handy for purchasing a text book. Please see attached for details on
the SM help.
Look forward to a great semester of Club IT and we will be able to get much
more done with 1.5hrs this semester vs 1hr like we had last semester.
