Awesome meeting tonight ClubITers, it's always a joy seeing everyone--even
if it is only virtually! We're nearing the end of the semester, and with
only one meeting left in front of us we're winding down, putting our last
plans into place, and starting to look toward the future. For those unable
to make it this week or for anyone who may need a recap, this week we:
*-*Plugged a Zoom webinar highlighting women in STEM that takes place
tomorrow May 6th from 11:00AM -12:30PM. *Advancing San Diego: Women in STEM*
will feature a number of panelists from various fields and departments and
includes breakout sessions that offer an opportunity to network.

*-*Reminded the club of our movie night collaboration with MiraCosta's FYF
club. There is a flyer attached with the information on that for anyone who
may still be interested in attending.
*-*Touched base on SoCal Cyber Cup including a few questions that stumped
groups and the impending next round on May 22nd. Those who may have missed
the first round but are interested in lending a hand to the team this time,
do let us know!
*-*Brainstormed a bunch of great ideas for a semester send off and decided
to survey the club on what ideas they liked best. That form can be found
here <https://forms.gle/sbotubBxPf4Xojxa9>. No one answer is required so
you are free to fill that out as you please.
