Sites have been booked, exam timetables are out, and the weather is getting
toastier so we're finalising the Wilson's Prom trip!
Details: 4th - 7th November
Cool stuff: swim-throughs, seals, dolphins, whales, people are usually also
pretty cool?

We'll also be having a info night for those attending closer to the date to
sort out gear, carpooling and how this trip will be runnin', so stay tuned
for that.
*For those who have filled out the form but are yet to pay the deposit, you
need to do so to confirm your position on the trip!*

Hopefully you all read Steve's email about the annual dive trip down to
Wilsons Prom...to sum up, the dive trip will be held over Melbourne Cup Day
long weekend (4-7th November) and will involve awesome diving with
boulders, swim-throughs, lots of marine life, seals everywhere, and last
year we even saw dolphins and WHALES!!! If you don't want to dive (but why
wouldn't you???) there's heaps of amazing bush walks, beaches, and overall
social shenanigans. There's also a few other dive clubs there that weekend
so it's a whole lot of fun.

Please note there is also quite a lot of work to be done on this trip,
especially regarding launching the boat from the beach into waves, filling
tanks, cooking meals and such. Diving at the prom can also be quite
challenging in cold water (14C) and swell, please let me know if you are
unsure of your diving abilities and would like to discuss further.
You will need to be a member of both MONUC and MASC for this trip, please
let me know if you would like to become a member. Estimated cost is around
$400 for the entire long weekend, including donations for boat fuel, boat
use, compressor use, camping fees, and group meals...excluding membership
fees, gear hire and transport to the prom.
