Hello everyone,
It's that time of year again, time to select our 2018 committee and share
stories from the year gone by! Inviting you all to our annual general
meeting on Wednesday the 4th April.
*Basic run-down:*
It'll properly kick off at 7pm so please aim to be there at 6:30pm so we
can get started on time, just take a left at the Monash Sport desk and
it'll be in the 1st room on the right.
After reminiscing over adventures and shenanigans of the past year,
there’ll be the formalities of electing a new committee for the year.
If you’re keen to get involved in the club, meet a tonne of awesome people,
learn from some experienced divers and want some good material to put on
your resume I highly recommend you chuck your name down for something. All
positions will be available and are outlined below.
After that it’ll be *free pizza* for din-dins whilst we decide what we want
to do over the next year ('oh the places you'll go!') and watch trip videos.

*MONUC Committee positions:*
President – Runs the show, liaises with Monash Sport
Treasurer – Authorises purchases, completes audits
Secretary – Manages memberships, records meeting minutes
Gear Officer – Maintains gear locker and the purchase/maintenance of gear
Social Officer – Organises social events
Car Officer – Maintains our delightful club car
SDFV rep- Looks out for our rights as divers
Environmental Conservation Officer – organizes events and volunteering
opportunities for marine conservation and data collection
Webmaster – Keeps webpage & Facebook up-to-date (calendar, trip reports)
Portable Compressor Officer – Maintains portable compressor
General Committee – Organises and assists with events, does a bit of
everything
*MASC Committee positions:*
President – Big boss
Treasurer – Authorises purchases, completes audits
Secretary – Manages memberships, records meeting minutes
Boat Officer – Looks after Sir John the MASC Club boat
Webmaster – Keeps webpage & Facebook up-to-date (calendar, trip reports)
General Committee - Organises and assists with events, does a bit of
everything
