Greetings, MARC Members and Friends of MARC!
Once again the time has come for our main monthly meeting. This month,
I will be giving a presentation on communications using visible light
(you know, the kind you see with). If you are wondering what in the
world that could possibly have to do with amateur radio, well, you'll
have to attend to find out!
The meeting will be at our usual location, Murray Fire Department
station 81, located at 4848 S Box Elder St (35 W) in Murray. The
meeting will start promptly at 6:30 PM MDT, with a brief check-in net at
6:00 PM on 147.600 MHz simplex (no tone or offset), which is standard
load channel 31.
Also, please note starting next month (September) we will be having CERT
training at our first and third meeting. This will continue through the
first meeting of November. If you have interest in being CERT
certified, this will be an excellent opportunity for you. CERT is the
Community Emergency Response Team and the training will help you to know
what to do in an emergency, whether man made or natural. For more

I will be attempting to Zoom the meeting tomorrow and also attempting to
