Greetings MARC Members and Friends of MARC,
Once again, it is time for our "Advanced Topics" class tomorrow, 10 FEB
2022, starting at 6:30 PM MST. The meeting will be at our usual
location, Murray Fire Department's Station 81, located at 4848 S Box
Elder St (approximately 35 W). This week we will be watching the RATPAC
presentation from 13 JAN 2022, entitled Winlink Hybrid Gateway Design
and Operations. The presentation was given by Kevin Sherwood (AJ7C) of
Culver City, CA and is approximately 82 minutes long, so we will be
starting promptly at 6:30.
Prior to the meeting, we will have our "check-in" net at 6:00 PM MST on
223.440 MHz simplex (no tone or offset). If you do not have a radio
with the 1.25m band, you may want to look into getting one as this band
will the primary band for amateur use in Murray City during an
emergency. The club does have several radios available for checkout, as
well.
