Greetings, MARC Members and Friends of MARC!
Once again it is time for our monthly general topics meeting. This
meeting will be held tomorrow, June 16th, starting at 6:30 PM. The
meeting will be at Murray Fire Station #81 (4848 S Box Elder St) and
will be in the Small Conference Room (NOT the Community Room that we
usually meet in, which is being used by CERT this week). This room can
hold 15-18 people (or so I have been told), and the meeting will be
shared via Zoom for those who do not want to attend in person. The Zoom
link is:

Meeting ID: 878 4807 8181
Passcode: amateur
If you need a Google Calendar invite for this meeting, let me know.
The meeting this week will be a presentation by our own Paul (AE4KR),
who will be briefing us on FCC Emission Exposure Limits. As you may
know, the FCC has recently updated their regulations on exposure limits
and these changes may affect YOU. Come to the meeting to find out all
you need to know to continue operating safely.
As usual, prior to the meeting we will hold a brief "check-in" net on
147.600 MHz simplex (standard load channel 31, MRC-CITY). NOTE, this is
not the frequency that we used to use for these, which was the RACES
frequency 146.440 MHz (standard load channel 99), but is the assigned
"SAFE Neighborhood" frequency for Murray, "SAF_16" in the standard load.
Hope to see you all there!
