Once again, it is time for our general monthly meeting. Please join us
on Thursday, 17 March 2022, at 6:30 PM. As usual, we will be meeting at
the Murray Fire Station #81, located at 4848 S Box Elder St (about 35 W).
This week, I will be teaching about the care and feeding of Tactical
Call Signs. I know we have used tactical call signs previously (during
our service for the Murray Fun Days parade), but if you were not clear
on what they are or how they are used (or how they differ from FCC
issued call signs), you'll want to attend this class.
I will be simulcasting the presentation via Zoom, and the meeting will
be recorded and published on my Youtube channel (and the club web

simplex (no PL tone or offset) at 6:00 PM (just prior to the meeting).
As usual, this is a very brief no-traffic net whose primary purpose is
to make sure we know how to set our radios up for non-standard
frequencies. Better to figure this out now rather than when the
earthquake is happening!
