Greetings, MARC Members and Friends of MARC!
Once again, it is time for our "Advanced Topics" meeting, this Thursday,
October 13th. As usual, the meeting will be held at Murray Fire
Department Station #81, located at 4848 S Box Elder St (35 W) and will
begin promptly at 6:30 PM MDT. This week's topic will be all about
amateur radio testing, the VEC (Volunteer Examiner Coordination) and
becoming and/or being a VE (Volunteer Examiner). The meeting will be
presented by our own Max (AI7LG), who is a newly minted VE. Max will
also be covering how remote testing works, so for those of you
interested in upgrading or taking your first test, this will probably be
useful.
We're going to try simulcasting this on Zoom again, so we'll see how
that works out.
