Greetings MARC Members and Friends of MARC!
It is once again time for our "basic topics" class, this Thursday, 2 Dec
2021 at 6:30 PM MST. As usual, the meeting will be held at the Murray
Fire Department station #81, located at 4848 S Box Elder St (about 35 W).
The subject for this week's meeting will be mobile radio installation.
I will show some pictures of my radio installation in my Yukon and talk
about some of the decisions I made while doing the install. If YOU have
a mobile install, and would like to show some pictures of your
installation and talk about what decisions you made, please send me your
pictures and I'll have them on my laptop ready for presentation. If we
run out of our own installations to brag about ... I mean talk about, we
can watch some videos of other people's installations and critique them.
As usual, prior to the meeting (at about 6:00 PM MST) we will be having
our brief "check-in" net on the MARC repeater at 223.960 MHz (negative
1.6 MHz offset, PL tone of 103.5 Hz). If you have a radio with the
1.25m band, please join us for this net. If you don't have a suitable
radio, the club has a few that are available for checkout (hopefully we
will be getting some more soon).
