Greetings MARC-folks,
Once again, the time approaches for our "beginner's topics" meeting,
which will be this coming Thursday on December 1st. The meeting will be
held at the Murray Fire Station #81, located at 4848 S Box Elder St (35
W) and will begin promptly at 6:30 PM MST. This month we will be
viewing the second part of the RATPAC Beginner's Guide to HF Week 2:
Choosing HF Radios & Antennas, presented by Anthony Luscre, (K8ZT) and
Dennis Kidder, (W8DQ).
Prior to the meeting, we will have a brief "check-in" net on our club
repeater at 223.96 MHz with a tone of 103.5 Hz. This check allows us to
confirm that we know how to configure our radios for other frequencies
and repeaters as well as that we can communicate effectively across the
city.
