Greetings, MARC Members and Friends of MARC!
Once again the time approaches for our ... oh, wait, no it doesn't. We
don't have a meeting until NEXT week. So why are you getting this e-mail?
Dan (N7XDL) attended a swap meet last week and picked up an Alinco 1.25m
mobile radio for $50. While he doesn't have a use for this radio right
now, he does have a use for $50, so he would like to sell the radio to a
club member who needs a way to get on the 1.25m band (the band that our
club repeater is on). Dan is willing to let this radio go for the same
price he paid for it. If you are interested, please contact him directly.
NEXT Week, on October 6th, we will be having our third CERT class. If
you have missed either the first one or the second one, you can make
them up on October 4th or 11th respectively (those are Tuesday nights,
for the calendarly challenged). All of the Tuesday night classes will
start at 6:30 PM.
