Greetings, MARC Members and Friends of MARC!
Sorry for the lateness of this message... for some reason it slipped my
mind.
We will be meeting this Thursday (that's today, folks), the 8th of
December 2022 at 6:30 PM MST. The meeting will be at Murray Fire
Department Station #81, located at 4848 S Box Elder St (35 W) in
Murray. We'll be talking about Packet Radio and going into a little
more depth than we have previously. We'll also talk about what Packet
Radio looks like today vs. what it looked like back in the 1980s.
We're going to give the Zoom session another try... if you can't make
the meeting (and with the snow that might apply to several of you),
please try to join us via Zoom here: Zoom Meeting Link

If you need a calendar invite for this, let me know.
Don't forget our "check-in" net on 223.440 MHz simplex at 6:00 PM,
thirty minutes before the meeting. Just as a reminder, this frequency
is channel 29 on the standard load. If you don't know what the standard
load is, take a look here: https://www.murrayarc.org/the-standard-load/
We're working on getting copies of the standard load for as many radios
as we can find. As we get them together, we'll put them on that page
for download. If you have a standard load file for an obscure radio, or
a common one, let me know.
Hope to see you all at the meeting!
