As I recall, widgets with Dashboard are no longer preferred by default. You
have to turn Dashboard on in Mission Control. Apparently, you can also use
those widgets from the Today section of Notifications. I don't know which
method you are using. I am pasting the link to an article about using Dashboard
in Sierra; some of the methods may not be as accessible but you can experiment.
Also, if you haven't tried using them in your Notifications, you could try
that. Finally, it is quite possible that some widgets that worked back in
Mavericks no longer work in Sierra but if that is the case, there may be newer
ones that will perform the same tasks for you. All of this may be old
information to you but I hope some of it helps.

Hi folks,
I have downloaded sierra on the laptop and I find that the widgets I used

Thanks.
