The question of how to remove apps from the mac comes up quite often. This can be as simple as running an uninstaller bundled with the package or putting the app in the trash. If you do the latter though, you may also need to remove any settings files the app leaves behind. To do this, go to the library folder on your hard drive, open the preferences folder and see if you have anything with the app name in that folder and trash it. also, if the app came in a folder, delete the entire folder. go to the receipts folder in library and delete anything with the name of the app in it. go to your home folder the one with your name as the name of the folder under users on your hard drive, go to library, go to preferences folder and delete anything with the app name if it is there go to receipts folder in your library here too and delete anything with the app name in it. There may be some other places where app stuff is hidden but this should get rid of most if not all of the critter. Office is huge so make sure you get all of it.

don't forget to empty the trash when you are done and be prepared for it to take a while especially with the mammoth office.
