[macvoiceover] turning offf the track pad?

My track pad is becoming physically damaged, clicking when I don't want it to
and moving me out of windows and weird things like that. Thing is, I don't use
it much; is there a way I can disable it? I'm running Snow Leopard still, and
if I could shut it down until I can get it repaired, that'd be good.
Thanks. :)
