[macvoiceover] the ftp thing in the finder

Hello I'm trying to use the finder for some ftp access and for some reason when 
I command tab away to get my user info and password it tries to connect.  and 
shows a busy progress bar even though I have not entered in any user info. Is 
voice over flipping out or whats going on?
