I don't want to put in those earbuds for every call or walk around with the earbuds on all the time in case somebody calls me.

So if I can't hear voiceover say "answer" and "end call"
I just double tap until it answers or hangs up. Usually, though not always, it will eventually hang up anyway. A couple of times I haven't managed to answer till the third or fourth ring but I haven't actually missed a call this way yet. What we probably need is an independent way to turn up voiceover without having to get it to talk to turn it up. I wonder: if you had a real headset with the microphone built on instead of just the earbuds, is there an auto-answer setting? Or could you get a headset with an answer button on the headset? These might be options if you didn't mind wearing a headset all the time, though I think I'd rather not do this.
