also, you can actually regulate it with three choices, once per hour, twice 
per hour and 4 times per hour.  I like it on the quarter hour especially 
during meetings <lol>

Hate to break this to you, but as far as I know, there is no way to do
that. If you hit Vo+M twice quickly, you can get to the status menu,
then right arrow to the time. I tell you, the way you have to set the
system clock is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen. I needed
sighted assistance. Why should we have to choose a dang city when we
can set the time ourselves? There is a check box under the Clock tab
in Date And Time preferences that makes the time get announced at the
top of each hour. Pretty nice.
