If you hit Vo+M twice quickly, you can get to the status menu, then right arrow to the time. I tell you, the way you have to set the system clock is the most idiotic thing I have ever seen. I needed sighted assistance. Why should we have to choose a dang city when we can set the time ourselves? There is a check box under the Clock tab in Date And Time preferences that makes the time get announced at the top of each hour. Pretty nice.
