Or, try to bring up the "Window Viewer"... not sure if that's the correct
name, by pressing VO F2 twice quickly while in TextEdit... this will bring
up a list of all open textEdit documents... or, it may be VO F3, sorry I'm
at work and can't check on my iMac at home! One brings up a list of open
windows and the other brings up a list of running applications.

If you are running Lion, your files automatically get saved.

Hello list,
Is there any possible way to retrieve a document from text edit that was
closed without being saved? I still have text edit up, but that document is
not. :(
I had two open, and accedentally closed the wrong one without saving it. :(
Any help here would be so appreciated. I'm not hopeful since I know
documents usually can't be recovered this way, but I thought I'd ask
anyway.Thanks.
