Dom stands for document object model and has to do with the way screen readers
interact with web pages where web elements appear in a similar manner to what
sighted people would see taking into consideration buffering and other things
that screen readers have to do to make the information accessible.. Dom mode
is one way to view web pages in Voiceover and group mode is the other where
things like links, headings, tables, etc. are grouped together.
