When I do that it started from the beginning, the play head was not
moved. Also, it seems that when I hit the escape while in the scroll
area, I got the place where the track name is and vo-left reveals a
disclosure triangle which is something visual, but if I am in there,
I cannot hit space, os its very tricky.
But my main problem is the play head is not moving to insertion point.

Before using keyboard commands make sure you navigate back to the scroll area
instead of staying on the toolbar, and press the escape key. Pressing the
space bar should then start playback wherever the play head is.

If I do what you say, playback starts from 0 and I have to go into the
toolbar, space just brings up the volumes menu. So, I set the
location at 00'04'00, how do I play from there, command-y resets the
location to 0 and command shift y seems not to move the play head.

OK, first find your location or set the location, then command y to move
the insertion point to the playhead, then when you want to go back and
start again from that insertion point, press command shift y. Then press
spacebar to start playback.
By pressing the tab key the playback will stop and the playhead will
return to zero, if you press command shift y it will again begin at the
set location.

Hi. I am new to amadeus pro and I am trying to do something with a
.wav file and not succeeding at all. I open the file, and I want to
start playing at a certain time. I did command-g to set the location
and then did command-shift-y to set the play head at that location.
However, when I hit the play button it started from 0 instead of the
location I set. It looks like it never really moved the play head to
where I set the location.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
