[macvoiceover] problem removing myself from a group

I am using Snow Leopard 18.6.8 and the latest updates for Safari, on the
Facebook main site. I want to remove myself from a group. When I find the
group name on the page with VO, there's an "EDIT <group name>," button next to
it. Pressing or mouse-clicking does nothing except grey the button. It goes
back to normal when I move my VO cursor off it. I cannot find any way to
remove myself from this group. Can someone give me a clue here?
