[macvoiceover] preview question

hi,
In preview should the side bar have annotations, contact sheet, table of
contents, or thumb nails selected? Does this make a difference when reading PDF
files? Right now mine has thumb nails selected and I was wondering if that had
anything to do with the way the document is read. Also, I was wondering if
anyone else experienced studddering and repetition of lines when reading pdf's?
