  Of worth noting, though, is not all applications will allow you to run them 
from the dock. I've had applications tell me before the following. "Please use 
the .app file in the applications folder to run this application. This cannot 
be done from the dock." or something similar. But I guess you'll find out when 
you try! I suppose that rarely happens, though, but apparently it does.
