You won't have to worry about the DVD getting stuck. Though it rarely happens, whenever it does, just take it to the your local Mac store and they will fix it for you. If they get it unstuck, most stores won't charge you because it takes only a matter of seconds for them. On another matter that does concern VoiceOver, you will have that problem discussed by Ashley and others about the Welcome message not always sounding at startup.. I believe it's a bug in the software and Apple should be alerted. Otherwise, you'll be getting a very good machine that will be as reliable as it can, with proper care. And if it does not work, if worse comes to worse I'll just get the smallest monitor I can, and use that. I hope my apple works good and doesn't get dvds or cds stuck in the drive or anything like that. I hope it just works, and works good for me. I made my decision, when the voc rehab tech person comes out I'm justifying why I need the mac mini, the netbook with windows7, the high speed scanner and the booksense.

my blog is at http://jkenn337.klangoblog.net (updated frequently). Tired of Microsoft Windows and paying thousands for screen-readers? try out NVDA, get a mac--, nvda--for Windows, or try out and switch to grml, Ubuntu, Vinux, or knoppix-adriane Linux desktops. Knoppix ubuntu and vinux-cli-max are the most accessible for beginners. also try vinux-gui and encourage those at www.cherrypal.com to use windows-xp and nvda knoppix-adriane Vinux-cli-max or grml so all blind people can have an accessible computer.
