This is the "bug," or change that I've ben whining about for a day now. YOu have to use VO navigation to go to the playlist browser, then interact with it, find the column you want to search in, say, artist, then you have to stop interacting, type in the letters of the artist you want, begin interacting again, find with VO keys the album you want and then you can play it. It's unwieldy but do-able.
