What kind of machine are you using? Did you watched the entire installation procedure and get a Restart button at the end of the process? Did any music play after the Restart?Marshall

How long should it take to install? Also, I can't eject the dvd...does this
mean it's doing something?

sounds like you got the blue screen of death. the only thing I know of to do in this case is to do an erace install by putting in the dvd, restarting the system whilest holding down the c key and pressing command-f5 (add fn if

need be) after the spinning stops and press enter to accept the default
language and so on.
