Hi; thanks to everyone for their input. I'll mostly need to do Word processing, and I'll need a spreadsheet; it's to bad about MS Office, because I've a need to share Word and Excel documents. How does iWorks handle this?

Tell us what it is you need to do, word processor, spread sheet, there are a few choices and Works is one of them.
