Hi,

once you've unlocked your phone, the notifications are no longer displayed. So
for example, your in the shower and receive 2 texts and a phone call. When you
pick up the phone and are on the unlock screen, those 3 notifications are
displayed. So if you wanted to reply to 1 of the texts, you could just double
tap on it from the unlock screen and be taken right into the messages app ready
to write your reply. But once, you've sent your reply, and locked your phone,
the next time you are on the unlock screen those notifications will be gone
from the unlock screen. The only way to see them will be by doing the 3 finger
swipe from the status bar which displays all notifications received, not just
ones missed while the phone was locked.
