Does command-option-f when you are in a mailbox work if you use that?

When you delete mail, it's just not leaving your inbox or is it reappearing
later?

Hello John, I search the same way I have done for 7 years. I locate the
search box at the top right of the imail window using Zoom. Then click into
it and type my search criteria. I then use VO to tell me what has been found.
Since Yosemite precisely nothing.
I do not have any Gmail in there. I have an icloud, ntlworld.com, a
virginmedia.com and a couple of ones for websites that I am involved in.
These have been the same for years.

A few questions here.

1. How are you searching? Please provide the steps you are using.

2. What mail accounts do you use. Is this specific to an account type or a
general problem? If you are using Gmail, it could be specific to your gmail
settings and not a Mac Mail issue at all.

Hello, since upgrading to Yosemite I have had problems with iMail. The
search facility doesn't do anything at all. Also I can't always delete
emails.
I have been looking at an alternative mail package, can anyone recommend
one?
