Hi Cheryl,

On my iPad in ios 7, swipiping up gives you the "archive" option, and
down gives you "more", which I assume can be double tapped to offer
more choices. Guess I should try that and see what it does. I do have
the ask before deleting, and that is off, as I want it to be. But I'm
looking for "trash" not "archive", so unless it is burried in that
"more" setting, I don't seem to have it. I've never used Exchange for
anything. I have no problems with the gmail on my Mac under ML, at
least not like what folks have experienced with Mavericks. I wonder if
there is a difference between the iPhone and iPad apps under ios 7 with
respect to trash versus archive.
