At least if you are in Sierra, in some cases the method below may not work
though this also is my preferred method. I just tried this on a link I wanted
to send to the list and got and url with some location indicator appended to it
and that link did not then work when I tried it even though I do have "show
full web address" checked in Safari General Preferences. So in case the method
below from a previous message does not work for you in some cases, here is what
you can do:
In Safari, go in your menus to History and choose Show History or better yet,
do command-y in safari. In History, interact with the Bookmarks table. You can
either do vo-down-arrow through the actual addresses or the titles of the
websites. If your website is from a previous day, you will have to expand that
day's websites with right arrow. When you find the one you want, do
command-shift-m and vo-arrow down to copy and do vo-space on it. Then paste the
link where you want it.
I am assuming that the first, quicker and easier method will usually work but
in case this does not work, this is an alternative method.

Hi,
As a relatively new mac user, could someone tell me how I get the url of the
currentpage I’m on in safari onto the clipboard?
Thanks.
