sam;

The commands for doing this are much the same as in windows but for the substitution of the command key for the controll key and an additional change here and there. remember that what you hear in vo is relative to the direction of insertion point travel so if you are going right char by char, you'll hear the character immediately to the left of the insertion point, and if you are going left char by char, you'll hear the char to the right of the insertion point. it is important to distinguish here. that we are using the words insertion point to denote this departure from the way things are done inother screen reading technologies.

a little knowledge of windows can be a good springboard but it can also be somewhat of a hinderance.

Now, what specifically are you having issues with?

Hi,

I still get confused when editing text in vo; that is, I don't have the basics of highlighting characters, words etc. and I'm always working in frustration mode. Help appreciated, thanks.
