[macvoiceover] dragging and dropping wiht voice over

Ok if I wanted to drag a folder from the import section to the on my mac
section how do I do this with voice over or is it impossible? Using the latest
os with all updates. I read the manual and tried to follow the directions for
drag and drop for voice over with very disastrous results. I even tried a cut
copy and paste via edit.
any suggestions would be appreciated here.
