Hi, Patrick and all,
I found out what I as doing wrong. I put in the name of the app with the .app extension. Soon as I went in and removed that, poof! It found it for me! Then, I had a problem typing in my psssword, cuz I had a v in it, and you know how similar c, v, and b sound? It eventually locked me out, so I went into itunes and the store on my mac, found my account, and changed my password. Then, back to square 1 on the phone, well, actually square 2 as the app was still listed when I opened the app store smile! I was able to correctly enter my password on the very first try yay! And now, I have another app on my phone! Thanks, to you and David too! Marcy

Hello Marcy and all:

I may be pointing out the obvious though remember to double tap in the text field and then enter your string (smile). I forgot to do that the first time ... lol and then remember to flick to see what your choices are. what are you looking for in the app store?

Beware. Apps are like potato chips. Once you get hold of one you will want another one (grin).

Hi, David!
Okay, what am I doing wrong? I entered the app store, and found the search box. I typed in the name of the app, and pressed search. Nothing. Empty list. Sigh. I must be missing something. If you could be like a gps, you know , head me in the right direction? Thanks! Marcy

all;

If you haven't tried it yet, you should give downloading apps directly to your IPhone a spin. I have downloaded several and as tough as it is for me to keyboard, I've managed to download light saber, planets and public radio and maybe one or two more. I was able to type characters in the search box, even edit the string and then to type my password into the password field after double tapping the price (free for the ones I got). The app you have selected downloads and the install button appears and double tapping it installs the app. Nice!
