Mark,

I am not having this issue but I don't have your file. I can read entire documents without having to read them one page at a tile and I can go to specific pages and to next and previous pages.

There are a couple of ways to gut a pdf document.

1> select all the text if you can and place it in a text edit window.

2> select all the text and in services under the preview menu, yu should find a text edit group with a couple of possibilities.

Someone has sent me a PDF file they want to be able to read, but cannot. I can open it with Preview, and I can interact with the scroll area and VO will read page by page, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to convert the entire document to a text file. I've looked in the menus, tool bar, and tried to read the help texts; is there a way to render the text of the entire 27-page file into a text file and send that back to him?
