Yes, that is true. It will be a faster processer and a whole lot cheaper,
but don't know about the speed really being faster because the Mac air has
now a solid State drive on the board so to speak so this will in it self
make it faster than most net books and the way apple process there ram and
processer they get more out of them and the Mac will be much more stable
than any net book and won't be outdated in 6 months or a year. So you will
have it a whole lot longer. Of course we are not a seeing person but take in
account that we were than the display would be whole lot better. Also take
in the fact of a screen reader to put on the net book and this makes the Mac
air witch is really apple net book sort of. The only thing is missing is
the media drive but I understand what they are doing trying to keep size and
weight down and This would really add weight and bulk to it defeating the
purpose of the machine.

The sad thing is, you can get a Netbook for way cheaper than the MacBook
air, and a bit faster processor and a little more storage, as well.

For $69, you can buy the Magic Trackpad which works great with the Mac mini.

I really want that new MacBook Air.
