[macvoiceover] burning CDS?

Hi Everyone:
I'm trying to burn a CD for my mother. Every time I put the CD in it's ejected
by both my iMac and macbook. It doesn't show up in itunes or finder. I've
created a playlist and hit the "burn disk" button in iTunes, but no luck. What
might I try? Has anyone had any luck burning audio cds that might shed some
light on this?
