I am having the same problem, as I've tried every trick and every which way I can think of to save mail, and it's just not working. It acts like it's saved, but when I go to find it, it's not there, it's not anywhere. It's like I never even did the save. I'd love to get to the bottom of how some are having no problem with this and some are definitely, like me! Marcy

yuck, we need to figure out what the difference between your computer and others who are having this issue are. I know of one brand new macbook having this issue and I'm having the issue on one of the first macbooks ever made. I don't use the preview payne and my message composition is set to plain text.

Hi all,

I'm putting this here incase someone else thinks they are going crazy like I was.

It seems as though the latest updates have put a bug in mail. it is not possible to use save as in mail under leopard latest. I've done this before and can do it if I don't have the latest leopard installed though so this is a bug.

If someone succeeds in figuring this out, that would be good. In the meantime, this is a good use of the feedback item in the mail menu.

Before you ask, using safari 4 does not make a difference.

Let me know if your experience differs please?
