I don't believe so. The only Bluetooth functionality supported is a headset as
far as I know.

Subject: [macvoiceover] braille displays with IPhone?

I was wondering if the current version of the IPhone 3GS has the ability to
connect a Bluetooth Braille display? I plan on buying a Bluetooth capable
Braille display in the future and would like to be able to pair it with my
future IPhone.

Now how can I stop liking my guinea pig! *smile*

Seriously, thanks for taking the time to do all this testing. I will make
some test calls today and see if I fair any better. Like I said last night,
it definitely could have been user error. I'm getting better, but I'm not
that good yet! *grin*
Take care,
Donna

Hello Donna and all:

OK, this is the portion of the show where you stop liking me (smile).

I just called my home phone, my work phone, and my dad's cell phone. no one
was at either of them so I got voicemail. unfortunately, I was able to hang
up with all of them.

The only thing that I observed was that the end call button is selected when
the voicemail begins ... so it seems. I held the phone away from my face ..
as if I was looking at it ... about six inches. that was when the speaker
activated. then I could either look for the end call button which is easier
to find if you contact the screen in the lower right corner and flick or
using the double tap which I know you know how to do.

I am at a loss.

If you need another ginny pig for testing do not hesitate to ask.

In short ... search me from a distance.

Give the above idea a shot ... other than that ... at this moment ... other
than observing ... I am flush out (smile).

Good luck and take care.

Hi Patrick,

Well, it very well could be user error, given my newness to the phone, but I
don't think so.  Yes, I did hold the phone flat.  And yes, I have been able
to stop and start a song in the Ipod.  And I've been able to hang up from
other calls.  I really think that this is a weird bug, related only to being
sent to someone's Voicemail.  I think the problem may have something to do
with the fact that when leaving a voicemail, the hang up isn't mutual.  I
know that sounds weird, but it's the only thing I can think of that would be
different.  I'm going to call my husband tomorrow and try this again.

Thanks, and let me know if you come up with anything I haven't thought of>
