I got a Motorola S9 blue tooth head set from amazon.com for forty-five dollars and change. It replaced one I got from RadioShack for three times that amount of money a couple years ago. Neither my mac mini nor my IPhone had any trouble getting that head set authorized. The battery lasts for most of a day and ear buds go into both ears and the electronics of the head set rests on the back of your neck when in use. There's no visible or obvious microphone with this set but when you phone someone and talk, they hear you. Some people have complained about the sound quality, but not many.
