Yes, if you type the digits, you are moved to the next one on the Mac.
Different but I'm getting used to it.

Hello all,
I am using macOS 10.12.1 and iOS 10.1.
To login into my apple-id from my macbook pro, I type in my apple-id and
password on appl-id.apple.com.
After doing this , I receive the message of 2factor authentication.
ON my macbook , It seems that I have several separated fields with one
number in each field.
ON my iPhone, I receive a apple-id message with a code to fill in.
but, ON my macbook , I can’t figure out where to put the received code.
I supose, if I login with my iPhone on appl-id.apple.com , I should type in
the verification-code somewhere with my macbook and reverse if I login with
my macbook on apple-id.apple.com .
I use macOS 10.12.1 and also , I find that braille is less responsive then
it was already before.
There is e.g. no braille at all while switching between applications with
command+tab.
All hints are very welcome.
