all;

to look up a word on the mac, you can do it in a couple of ways, you can use spotlight which utillizes the apple dictionary or you can open the dictionary app from the apps folder and type the word into the html content after selecting your sources which is done by checking the checkboxes. You don't have to interact with the html area to do this and you will not find the edit field even if you do so just tab through, select your checkboxes and when youcome to the html area, just type your word and interact with the html content to read the results.
