I struggle with pdf files, I don't like them and I don't think they are all
formatted in the same way as, like yourself, some open easily and others don't
and this is frustrating, so I may save them as a .txt or .doc file then see if
I can read them.
I use Skim as my pdf reader.

Hi,
I’ve found the same. However, I have had a few problems opening some .pdf
files. Some are opening fine, some are not. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have been working around this by opening them i other programs; but I used
to like Preview, and I’d like to like it, again.
