Chris, same here. Don't count on getting access to the code though, at least not with Apple :). Wish they weren't so blasted secretive about everything. For all any of us know they could be getting ready to release a talking iPod Touch and we'd never hear a peep about it. Look how quietly these talking shuffles came on the scene, not even a word about them or a hint. It was the same with the Nano.

I want a talking iPod Touch and I want it now!!! I'll even volunteer to write some of the code at no charge if I could get a crack at this very cool bit of hardware and exploring the more advanced touch screen features that don't show up in any other PDA devices that I know about. On Mar 11, 2009, at 10:12 AM, Buddy Brannan wrote:Looks like Apple did this one pretty quietly: http://www.apple.com/ipodshuffle/features.htmlJust to make things more confusing, they're calling the iPod Shuffle's talking interface Voiceover as well. The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
